Cosmetic Fillings

When you have a cavity, a filling is often the best way to ensure that your tooth or root do not begin to decay or become infected.

Because of advanced bonding technology, there are many differnent options for fillings today.  Cavities can be fairly simple to fix when caught early, making regular dental visits and important key to your dental health!

Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth that are made of acrylic resin and sometimes combined with metal materials. They can help improve chewing ability, speech and provide support for facial muscles.

Dentures can also help improve your smile and the way you feel.  There are many different types of dentures and Dr. Harris can help you determine if one type is for you.

There are times when our dental care and regular dental visits may be compromised when life gets in the way.  Without regular dental care, our teeth may suffer beyond the point of repair.

In these cases, there may not be any other options than tooth extraction if a tooth is past the point of being restored.

Pediatric Dentistry

Going to the dentist can be a scary experience for patients of all ages, especially if it is their first time.  Dr. Harris and his team do their best to make your child's visit as relaxing and stress-free as possible, hopefully making your visit with them a little easier, as well!

Within 6 months of getting their first tooth, we recommend bringing your child in for his or her first dental visit.  Early preventive dental care can be the beginning of a long-lasting, healthy smile.

Root Canal Treatment

A root canal can sometimes be necessary to save a tooth that has been affected by decay, infection or fractures.  A tooth can be affected in this way with even the best at-home dental care.

Dr. Harris perfoms most of our root canals himself in the office.  There are some rare and more complicated cases in which we will refer you to a root canal specialist (endodontist) if needed.

Scaling & Root Planing (deep cleanings)

Dr. Harris uses both scaling and root planing to help remove plaque and bacteria during cleanings to help treat gum disease and prevent cavitites and tooth and gum infections.

Scaling is a procedure that is used during your regular cleanings.  Sometimes, a deeper cleaning procedure is needed, called root planing.
