If tooth removal is necessary, Dr. Harris will help determine the best course of action for you. He performs a wide range of extraction procedures in his office, making sure you are as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

During an extraction, Dr. Harris will numb the area to minimize any discomfort you may feel. Afterwards, we will make sure you have proper afer-care instructions so that your mouth can heal quickly. Dr. Harris will also discuss any options you may have after an extraction, including a bridge or partial denture.

In very complex cases such as impacted wisdom teeth, Dr. Harris will refer you to an appropriate oral surgeon.

Andrew Harris DDS

Dr. Andrew B. Harris was born in Nashville, Tennessee where he went on to earn his BS in Biology from Tennessee State University. Dr. Harris continued on with his education and training at Meharry Medical College, where he earned his DDS degree from the School of Dentistry and his MSPH from the school of Graduate Studies. After earning his DDS degree, he completed his residency program with Meharry Medical College in Hospital Dentistry.
